Pack of about a dozen of those for a quid in "The Works". Pure polystyrene. I think they are great.

Now my Bonfire ash has cooled given the trees a go. Slash and burn anyone?

Derek , for some reason, when i look at your armies and scenery it takes me back to holidays in Devon when i was a child and playingon the beach. :)

The Woolliscombe sand has dried out and the Combe Martin sand is almost there. Huge difference for 11.2 miles.

Ok, once its dried will do something on here about the different sands I have collected to use. Think its about 6 or so different lots.

THink this might be the final pieces finished. May still do a scrapyard but that all depends on time and interest. Starting to get a little jaded with scenary lol. Actually I have to do a count up on how many pieces I have. Lost count

Just right for some desecrated woods or are they more suitable to have a wicked witch and some monsters to hide in?

While searching the shed for a secure box to put all this stuff in stumbled across the terrain I made for Western and Sudan rules. Should fit in well enough so will probably be able to do around 20 (ish) templates worth. Maybe more.

Will be bringing it anyway just in case someone needs something.

I won't be able to encourage my militia into that Derek.  Hostile scenery = -1.

martin :)

Moggy

At least, any Militia entering will be eaten. But no VP for opponent.  Ideal for putting behind advancing troops so they can retreat into it.

OK Martin suggested it so local rule imposed ........... LOL.   Does that also count for any foot troops trying to walk across my sludge pit?

Hmmm, just had another thought about the burnt woods. Maybe with some snow and winterising they would be good for northern Russia/Finland or winter on the steppes? Or possibly Cretan trees?

Just as well I have loads of wire left over. Maybe yet another how it did it article brewing.

Get AK day out of the way first I think.

Yes my work will be continuing up to the deadline. Good job I work well under the pressure of a deadline!

Game on Tuesday with Dene at the Burton club.
Unsure which army to take yet, probably one of the unclaimed ones, like People's Revolt with all Militia.

Moggy

Maybe my Religious leader (nutcase?) will turn to canibalism!

Could I borrow the following:

3 x trucks (liability unit)
4 x transports
1 x bodyguard
6 x Regulars/professionals small arms   (preferably black troops in the same coloured berets - being a bit fussy I know)

on top of the above

3 x 6 sided dice with only 1,2 & 3s - for my moral tests dice
3x 6 sided dice with only 5 & 6s - for my shooting dice
Blindfold for my opponents on the day.

Thanks

Chris
