Thanks Julian,

I was looking at those.  Good see they are as good as the picture in the advert. 🙂

I usually paint Camouflage by hand. I only use the airbrush for basic Primer, main colour and varnish coats.

I think this is who I got my BMP1's from.

Thanks for the Heads up on the Saladin A/Car after making those metals ones for this force I would love some more. As honestly I don't trust QRF in how flat or not it will look. I need to buy some Bedford RL trucks off them at some point, after the truck Mike showed me the other day I have thoughts of dread in my mind.

Yes, the word "Jalopy" comes to mind!

I think that a great thing about AK47 is that you can keep buying the odd unit / vehicle as and when you feel like it or something tickles your fancy - and most can be used for any army list. Certainly the most "fun" ruleset concept I've come across in this respect.

I heartily concur with the above statements.

We shouldn't at all take any of our gaming too seriously. Yes, it's a viable way to study, reflect and ponder on the real world situations we are recreating, but I'm sure none of us would ever think we are glorifying conflict.

I think of AK47 reflecting the real world situation in Africa in a similar way to those seaside caricature artists, exaggerating the aspects that are the most ridiculous.

I'm getting quite excited for the big day now after months of build up. Long may such events continue.

I must admit for years I ve been collecting bits and pieces for AK47. Trucks, cars, mechanical vehicles (diggers etc) and planes. Now I have loads of bits, more than I thought ?
Of course FoW with Team Yankee and other ranges plus 3D printing stuff has made this period and lot more viable and varied.
Things can only get better.
Still got to sort out that "Assault rule" ?

Can I thank Sean and Battlefield Hobbies for Hosting the event. (Shame there was no Kettle?)
Also everyone that came it was very nice to see to see so many people there. It was nice that it went down to the wire as well.
I think a leaf out of Donald's Trumps book is needed. The elections were rigged and it was Fake News etc etc etc.... LoL.
Hopefully next year the Election will be needed to be run again and hopefully the Rightful Government can be Elected ? So with that in mind, of course that will make us the Rebels next year ???
As these Warring factions are going to be "running" the country for the next few months ??
So by the sounds of it we the now "rebels" will have to stand up and fight for our people near to Christmas time and start the election process all over again ?
Thank All that came and made Yesterday possible. TPF will rise again. "Power to the People" !

Thanks to all the players and to Julian for the cake.
Special thanks to me for not eating that spare lunch I saw.

The back of a truck venue was very novel. I like it.
