Finally got around to the four gliders that were in my pile of plastic shame.

Not happy with the upper surfaces.  Might go back and redo them.  Still to add the airbrush dapple on the fuselage sides, varnish and decals

Big Mike

These gilder models look great. Looking forward to seeing them finished with decals etc.
Very evocative of the period.

They look wonderfull, Simon. I find it's easy to forget quite how long their wingspan is.
Are these Battlefront?

The models and paint jobs are both very good indeed Si.
I would like to see more.

So,
yes these are the BF Plastic ones

Changed the top surface. The issue I think was that when I first masked off the RLM70 I left a gap between the two edges which I then filled in by mistake.

Can't find the decals in my spares box so had to send off for some, which will let me go and do some minor touches to finalise these.

Big Mike

Very nice indeed. The Crete game is raising the bar.

I have a couple painted for the Crete game but they dont look as good as these, well done

Did you use an airbrush, with pre-shading, Si?

Airbrushed.  Badger Renegade.  Still getting used to it.  I might have to go down a nozzle and needle size.

No preshading but I will give these a pin wash at the end

A bit of artistic licence.  The ones at Maleme do seem to have a two digit number but no idea of colour.  So these are "generic"
Rest of the decals to go on over the next week.

They do look good, Stewart. I hope to see them in the flesh in the not too distant future!
