I actually looked up the definition of the 3 Objectives in the rules and found I had misheard exactly should be on them.
One of them about the Bridge going off table. As I also use this for PBI if the X roads becomes an "edge" objective. It does state in SCW that it should have Sandbagged positions on it.
So as Spain can be both Grassy and Not and I usually do European, and now doing Mediterranean I ve now done one for both situations.they are not finished as yet.
I will make so separate "Sign posts" to put on as and when needed ?

Looking good Miles. How did make the sandbags?

Wonderful Miles.

Id like to do the same but not sure where to get half a bridge from.

Originally I had the old Matchbox one that came with the Sherman firefly.
I can cut a PP bridge in half if you need one Sean? Then some other member could have the other half.
Just let me know

martin :)

They look great. Very inspirational. I'd not thought of trying to use an actual half bridge model. I'll have to investigate that.

I'd always thought that that Matchbox half-bridge was a pretty useless bit of kit, until Miles showed me what he'd done and I found mine in the spares box.

Of course, half a PP bridge would also be very nice, and more "official" :)

Martin, You have just identified how to make your third million. Scrap that old complete bridge. Cut it in half and sell it for the same price. If anyone is foolish enough to want a whole bridge then they pay for two halves and you you get twice the money.
This time next year................
John

Also I'm open to using a half bridge.

John in York

I use the following 3 objectives:-
The half bridge (I sawed a Battlezone bridge in two. The companies now defunct I believe. Great shame as they had a really useful range).
A Windmill (from Hovels).
A crashed Me109 (from Kerr & King in Condor Legion markings).
Not exactly what's in the book but they look nice and work for me.

The objectives just have to look nice. A plane is great. Waiting to see Dave's bell tower (not a euphemism)
How about a photo of your's John.

If folk can agree how many half bridges they need i wil cut them up and have them here for your next orders.
Well done Miles for getting this topic going.
As John says, "millionaires Rodders".

The only thing is now I have two Matchbox Sherman Fireflys kits with no half bridges ! Lol
My next is to do the Church with the bell tower. I've actually got 2 churches one with small Tower attached the other would have to be added to the same Tower Sean has.
Would the hill I done for MexRev be ok for SCW ?
I used Green stuff Mike rolled into a sausage shape and cut into sections, placed on the dirt mound, then gently pushed on so it's not too flat.

Miles,

If you'd kept both half-bridges and bought one of Martin's instead, you could have had a whole bridge and Martin would have been that much closer to that pink Ferrari :)

I think your hillock would be fine Miles.
We all want a nice looking game and scenery is a major contributor.

Update on my Bridge going off the board. I ve done 2 one with a grassy base the other more Sandy base.
Hope you like ?
Miles

Colonel Kilgore

Very nice, Miles. Who'd have guessed that there was a plastic Matchbox half-bridge under each of those?
