Thank you for organising us here, Martin.

Is there a problem with allowing a slightly longer period during holiday and other peak times, rather than foregoing the Group Build completely?

If we give ourselves a break in July, we could run August to mid-September, and then do something in November?

I don't think that a single event would necessarily get in the way of the build and thus don't (personally - I may be missing something) see a conflict with Sean's AK47 day or WWW in October and November, respectively.

Just my twopenn'orth.

There sure are a lot of rules, regulations and by-laws in place for such a simple activity.

I'm afraid I'm with Paul on this. Will continue with my Belgian command at my leisure and post in eye candy. My next side project will be a Belgian fort, again either in eye candy or Square Bashing.

I agree, there shouldn't be too many hoops for people to jump through as it'll put people off. That isn't want I want.

Best wishes,

People may be preparing for the event and won't have a suitable project for a GB.

Thank you for your thoughts Simon. I have commented above in red,

I would like to hear more opinions, before making a decision.

Best wishes,

Andy, that's fine and having had a job with deadlines and changing priorities I understand that GBs aren't for you. I look forward to seeing your Belgium command group completed.

Yes, I will continue to pootle along with this and post it in the SB section. Just put brass/gold on car and uniforms. Very fiddly, so enough for now.
