I'm happy to share with you the release of a further SCW 1:72 scale AFV boxed set - that one of L3/33 Carro Veloce tankette.
(Yes I'm aware this is an odd scale to most of you, but I thought you'd like to know anyway...)

Box contains two models - a regular tankette with twin MGs, as well as its flamethrower version with its corresponding propellant trailer. Set is completed by the two crewmen you can see in pictures.

1:72 - sorry - don't understand  ;D

Nice models, though. Makes you wonder how on earth anyone fitted into, let alone fought in, something so small.

There are some others here as well.

You forget how small a lot of early war vehicles were!!
And some curious trucks.

The one in Bovington is an eye opener; it's so small you can look down into the crew compartment.
It looks like it would be cramped for a small child!
I couldn't see how they operated the machine gun(s) as it looked like the but end was right where your head or chest would be, assuming you could get in around it.
I wouldn't fancy going into action trailing a container full of flammable liquid!
When you see the size of it it's easy to believe the story of the Ethiopians flipping one over....

I remember the cut open Panzer 3 they had that you could get into. I did that on one visit and narrowly avoided causing myself injury on the various sharp angled bits of metal. I could not believe how cramped it was and the limited vision through the vision blocks.
While I was in it about 2 or 3 kids got in and it was claustrophobic.
No wonder people fought with the hatch open!
