Yes, taken a while but it finally happened.

3 Bn Bersaglieri (Prof)
3 Bn Alpini (Reg)
5 Bn Reservist
7 MG
3 Mortar
7 Field Guns
1 Regt Res Cav
1 Lancia 1ZM

A little more than I originally wanted but....  Next thing will be to act5ually have a game and figure out how to use them. Well, next step will be to read the rule-book a few times.    Almost built up the courage to start the Turks (that is a lot of reserve Infantry)

Mama mia, just noticed I didn't include  a mention of the Bn of Arditi (storm troops) in their rag-tag armour.

Derek, they look like Australians to me. They are all down under!

Tis a cunning plan Mi'lord. They will never expect us to blow a whistle, slowly stand up and then walk towards them in long lines. Not again.

That's quite a collection you've built up, Derek!

And it's very clever the way the photos spin the right way up when clicked on  :)

Great looking army Moggy.  You don't see that army everyday.

Thanks guys.

Still trying to find the starting point for the Turks though. That's after actually getting what I have already bought out and working out what I sill need. Found I still need another 6 Bn's of infantry but have too much cavalry. I hope you are happy now Martin. Should be delivered sometime later today according to the email.

Next have to work out what colour paint to use. From what I have looked at its a slightly "diaroah" green version of Kharki!.

Derek,

Simon "formerly known as Lurkio" did a great tutorial for the Ottomans, here: https://rulesforcommonman.uk/index.php?topic=437.0

Unfortunately the photos are no longer visible (unless Simon has copies he can repost?) but paint colours are noted.

You can imagine what the end result would have looked like here: https://rulesforcommonman.uk/index.php?topic=438.0

@Simon C - any chance of resurrecting those wonderful pictures, please?

You have lots of uniform colour options for the Turks.  Green, khaki, desert yellow.  Grey.  You can't go wrong.

Leman (Andy)

I like those. So pleased the photos flip when clicked on.

Hard at work on the Turks now. Trying to follow what was done on that link Simon kindly posted. Using an undercoat of Army Painter Sandf yellow, only doing webbing, weapons and faces then going to try out soft tone and see what its like. First 5 Bns almost done now so nearly time to dip!  Pics will follow.

Cheers

Derek
