When I said mount them onto CD's I did mention "strips" of them. So I would either as Martin suggested mount them into a Milliput type base onto strips of plastic card, cardboard or maybe thin wooden strips then mount 2/3/4 or even5/6 strips together onto a CD ? Allowing some to be shorter in length to fit onto say a CD ? This would allow them to be straight and maybe appearance of being in straight ish rows ?

My personal problem I am still trying to source lower plants and bushes to go with the Trees ?
When ever I look at fish tank type plants ? They always look so big or so colourful ?
Any suggestions ?
As it's 80th year of 1942 next year. Jungle scenarios are going to be on the agenda for PBI ? Not all the fighting was in Russia or N Africa?
The Vietnam Jungle scenery will suffice for a lot of the other parts of the Pacific region.

I have found that fish tank plants are generally made up of a number of smaller pieces, which can be prised apart and which then look much more suitable for 15mm size. Yes, they're colourful and often quite crudely made, but can be pretty effective for an overall jungly look.
