I'm proud to show you pictures of a Ship of the Line sample from our 1/600 scale naval range, as masterly painted by a customer –who is also a gaming mate.

He has slightly modified the original model, just by adding two clear plastic lanterns on stern, as well as a flag staff made from a piece of wire.

As for what I know, its stand is a clear plastic rectangle textured with clear silicone.

Isn't she a beauty?

Sure is Lluis.

Never done a ship wargame though--Closest I got was my Viking ships.

Terry

Oooh! I just got a field promotion to Wild Bore.

Colonel Kilgore

Wow - as Little Miss Kilgore has just said, "that's amazing!".

Oh wow is that a nice model, superbly painted.... sure wish i could put rigging on mine as well as this one.

Beautiful job on that.

Be a shame to use it on the gaming table though. From someone with a lot of experience gaming the period you are forever having ships literaly de-masted.  >:(  Its more prevalent than the enevitable loss of heads/shields/spears

Beautifully modeled, painted and rigged. You must be very please have such clients and gaming mates.

Terry you would enjoy Martins new version of the Pirate game, sea version.

Teery, if you ask Lluis nicely - and cross his palm with sufficient silver - he may even source, assemble, paint and base the ship models for you. A couple of us have been absolutely delighted with what Lluis has produced for us from Peter Pig models (adorned with his own lovely flags) for the RFCM Pirates sea game. And from Catalonia to Southern France, there's no pesky Brexit barrier to get in the way  ;)

Less than expectable at a first glance, however.
I've run several demo games at conventions here, most of times with inexperienced participants, using there ships from Peter Pig, Minairons and Skytrex; and the only serious incidence I've suffered didn't happen during games themselves, but afterwards - while packaging it all into my car! So my fault.

Nothing really serious, though - one of my favourite PP frigates got a mast bent, so that most of her rigging loosened and had to be redone.

Nearly as nice as the ships you painted for me Lluis and May I add they have been used in a few games with no damage to sales, masts or rigging.
