I have a recent book by Don Troiani called "campaign to SARATOGA 1777".
The Troiani pictures are superb in every way.
Very well researched.

Some of the pictures are new and some seen before.

Best picture for me depicts  Baum (Hessian commander) rallying his dragoons on foot. Their ammunition all expended. They get out their swords and attempt to get back to the British lines.

A book full of pictures, indviduals, battle scenes and militaria.
Well worth the money.

About £20.

Haven't seen this one but his civil war art is equally impressive.

That's a nice write-up, Martin.

Also available at Book Depository for the same price (also post free): https://www.bookdepository.com/Don-Troianis-Campaign-Saratoga-1777-Eric-Schnitzer/9780811738521?ref=grid-view&qid=1599719240169&sr=1-11

I've been trying to support the smaller firms recently.

Simon, I don't think I would put 'Book Depository' into the small traders category, cheap maybe, but not small.

For me it was them vs. Amazon - it was a question of perspective  :)
