Hello Lek(?)
Welcome to the group.
Don't feel ignored because no one has answered this.

I am not an authority on the colours but still want to give some input.
Pierre an Xavier are probably the ones to ask here?

They might be slow to answer because Les+Ralph wore them out wargaming?

I painted mine a few years ago using info’ from Osprey books.
Uniform green-grey with green piping.

That's right, Martin !  :)

I'm not expert in Jäggers (Mick ?) but I would use a greyish tan shade for the shako, which seems to be a cloth covered "saxon" type ; maybe the 976 light kaki from the Vallejo range. The same color may be used for the canvas bread bag and the bedroll.

For the coat you may use a strong greyish green such as the "field grey" from the Army Painter range, and a strong stone grey such as the Vallejo "neutral grey" (992) for the trousers.

Boots, belts and pouches are dark brown leather, and if you are courageous enough you may add a light green piping on the shoulder straps.

Pierre

Sorry, late to the party.
All colours Vallejo model colour.
Tunic - 830 German Fieldgrey
Pants - 836 London Grey
Webbing - any leather brown colour. I like flat brown 984
Hat - normal colour is black.  Helmet covers either 830 German Fieldgrey, or 821 German Cam Beige.
Bread bag & blanket - 821 German Cam Beige.
Gas mask canister - 979 German cam dark green
Probably too late to help, but might help someone else.
Cheers
Paul

Simon this painting information, needs to be collated into the WW1 section.
It will be lost here.
