Just wondering if anyone has any other hobbies other than miniatures and wargaming?

I collect 1/30 (60mm) soldiers.  King and Country are my favourites.
I occasionally glue my eyelids to my fingers building model warships.
Thinking about building an n scale model railway.  8ft x 3ft, so not very big.

Cheers

Bowls, boardgames and listening to music ( mainly American west coast rock from the 60s and 70s, British rock from the same era and the Grateful Dead).
Also watching/listening to football and cricket.

Interesting question Paul.

We have sheep and chickens.  So for the sheep I have to make the  hay and look after the lambs when they are borne in March / April.
We have a large garden that can provide most of our fruit and vegetables.
In our hamlet we have several elderly neighbours so we cut their grass.  We also help to cut their and our hedges.
I have the wood to cut and split each winter as our heating and cooker are wood fired. Usually need about 8 stere.
So I do not know where you would call these hobbies or not.

I played golf for my county as a young man.

I now play a bit of tennis.

I also play the guitar and ukellele.

But mainly I am taxi for Ava' s burgeoning tennis career 🤣

Sounds like members are leading full and busy lives.
Don't forget the pastimes of "lining up your armies for review" and "moving the figures from one box to a better box". Keeps me busy for hours. :-[

Also the occasional dust / shower, and painting medals on those troops that have performed well, while decimating units of poor performers?

Apart from wargaming, my hobbies are chiefly walking, reading, listening to music and watching films. I usually try and take in an historical site or two when I am walking. Planning some walks in the Netherlands using You Tube videos posted by Dutch hiker Wilco de Jonge, who does his commentaries in English.

Railway modelling (mostly building everything rather than out of boxes)
A bit of sketching and watercolours
Boardgames
Reading lots of history
I still try to keep up with developments in materials science (people say "what were you before you retired?"  and I reply "well, I'm still a scientist, I didn't have to give my PhD back when I stopped working) but I'm not sure that's a hobby.
I'm also involved in a clinical research programme but that's trying to find a positive out of a chronic health condition.
