Finally finished this group. MG34 team are older sculpts that I picked up from Colonel Bills. Tad smaller than the current range but have bags of character.

Looking very nice - they're the type of sculpts that could well also lend themselves to contrast paint?

Thanks. Regarding suitability with contrast paints I have no idea as my method is simply basecoat wash and minimal highlights I don't see the need to use them.

They look nice.
Great coated figures look great in games. They show that war can be  grim in weather terms too.  Germans in greatcoat always bring the fall of Berlin to mind.

Very nice painting and nice figures.

My primary interest is the eastern front so I do like great coat wearing figures and the other winter clothing figures, parkas, quilted jacket and trousers, fur hats etc.

They're nice - I don't think I've seen these scuplts before.

What is the chap sitting down doing - is that some kind of field telephone?

It's a cable reel described as a linesmen in pack 310

Colonel Kilgore

Ah ha - I was close - thanks NTM!

These type of figures really add to the range and are utilised in the rules I use Battlegroup

I've often thought of using these as a sort of Post Apocalypse WW2 setting. 1945 and desperate Nazis unleash various Wonder Weapons including Biological ones, leading the allies to respond with Atomic bombs. Europe is devastated and suffering a nuclear winter. Meanwhile survivors follow deluded Nazi Warlords trying to establish the next Reich. Maybe throw in a hunt for Hitlers brain so the owner can claim some sort of legitimacy.....
All a bit far fetched, now I wonder where I put my AK47 rules ... 😁😁
