Saturday 18th January is the 1940 day.
The Reverend cannot be with us sadly.  The day is still on.

I intend to be at the shop (Entoyment) at 9.15.
2 games.
Full standard rules ( I have listened to the commanders)
Each game starts with a reconnaissance phase using the inside the cover layout.
Miles, Stewart, martin +? will each bring a cloth and scenery.
Players will do the full game thing of choosing and setting up scenery for each game.

Victory points listed below are from page 133 of PBI book.  Next is a "translation" into campaign points for the day.
The translation ensures that one big win does not get  blown out of proportion. I can explain this further if helpful.
There are campaign points for playing the game too (ie zero)

Winning margin    Campaign day points
0                                            5
1-5                                         8
6-16                                       10
17-45                                     12
46+                                        14

e.g a player that loses both game(zero and zero points)  = 5+5=10
e.g a player that wins one game by 8 points and another by 20 points=10+12=22
e.g  a player that wins one game by 50 points and loses the other game.14+5=19
This means that a big win and a loss are not as good as two wins.

I do like the philosophy of the campaign points, Martin.

And I wish the best to all commanders tomorrow - particularly if they are not the 1940 aggressors :)

Sound s simple Martin
Thanks

How about if we make the trains run on time Simon?

Just like to wish the German players all the best of luck tomorrow. :)

Good point - you could probably build lots of motorways too, with no speed limits?

I'll settle for cheap wine, Calva and smelly cheese instead, thanks.

As do I, of course. May the most nattily-attired Company win!
