Arrows in flight

How about an "arrows in flight"  game piece.
i.e. a whole wave of arrows in the air arcing toward a target.  maybe 6" wide and 3" off the ground.
Just for interest and discussion.


Would it look good ?
Is that enough of an excuse to make it?
How would you make it?

Just have a sneaky suspicion that whatever was keeping it off the ground might detract from the whole effect.

Or maybe just use half a bauble? More stable, and you get twice as many for your money! You could hopefully also position them on top of any figures underneath?

The bauble half seems a good way for dealing with the support problem.
