Here is the glorious 45.
A big bag of changes.

1. Reversion to 4x3 size.  Still 4 zones. Each zone 12"  by 9".
2. Happy meadow mowed down and replaced by another gentle hill.
3. Zone capacity = 3 units.
4. Each zone can only pull 1 unit in. No pushing.
5. King affects morale too.

Only been tried twice so far. seems to work better.

Leslie BT

Kings and morale, not yet as far as I can see!!!

A bit more information please.

martin goddard

The King is generated by the scenario outcomes Les.
The effect is that his ward only fail morale on rolls of 5,6 instead of the more usual 4,5,6.

e.g 2 casualties, 1 hostile face.  Roll 3D6. player rolls and scores 3,4,4 = zero fails if the king is there. If no king then 2 fails.

Expecting 100 to be the final playtest count??!!

Leslie BT

That sounds very good. Back to it tomorrow evening.

After the day building stud walls at the restaurant, I have all the tiles laid and grouted (55 square meters).

That sounds like one big battle you're preparing for :)

I think Les has laid the tiles in order to play square bashing on the floor. Good work Les.

Ah - the whole of the Western Front in one game. I'm always amazed at how flexible the RFCM rules are in terms of scaling up to suit specific scenarios.

BB45 - Is this one due out soon? Hoping to get some testing in next week (half-term).
