an idea of belgian MMG manned by grenadiers ; the NCO comes from the command pack of the old PP Belgian range : oldie but goodie !

They are beauties. Can't wait to continue the headships on my PP Belgians. Incidentally, I probably now have too many lancers, so am considering converting some to chasseurs. Were the chasseurs issued with the lance? If not I can remove it relatively easily, as these are the old style figures (the original guides). It would be a shame to remove them if it is not necessary.

Were the chasseurs issued with the lance?

I am almost certain that the Chasseurs were never issued with lances, as they were some kind of mounted riflemen and intended to fight dismounted.
