Chris is dusting off his copy off and seeing whom has been naughty or nice. Sorry that got a bit mixed up.
He is putting it on for the WWW.

I ve still got Cavalry to do, one day i will paint them. Must play the game sometime again.

Leslie BT

Have to do a bit of head scratching to remember the rules and not be playing Vikings or Samurai!

Leman (Andy)

Still one of the best sets around for WOR, particularly after the revision of the combat system. Currently have a levy unit lined up for painting.

Sean Clark

Yes this is a brilliant set of rules. I particularly enjoy playing the scenarios of which Ive played around half, including Towton, the biggest of the lot.

I know Martin is in a grid frame of mind, but these rules along with Samurai, Civil War Battles and Washington's Armies really are great and should be played more often. They are very well suited to club night games but can also be expanded for demo games at shows.

My award for the most unappreciated rules mechanics goes to Peter Pig 👍

Chris is running a game of BB Saturday

Leman (Andy)

I plan to run one as a club Christmas game.

Thank you Sean

There are various methods of table layout. Grids is one but there are other ideas out there too. Maybe point to point or zonal?

Sean Clark

I'm fine with my trusty ruler for these games. I am loving all the grid games too!

Sean Clark

You may remember my Towton game at Alumwell Martin when a kind passer by said it would look much better in 25mm!

martin goddard

Yes, he is probably dead now, for being a bad person!

Leman (Andy)

;D ;D ;D - some people completely lack social skills and that diplomatic touch - sometimes they even get to be a president.

Sean Clark

Yes they do lack the personal touch. I'd painted around 600 Peter Pig figures and created a snowy landscape for them to fight over.

Maybe not something that would make the cover of Wargames Illustrated but I was quite proud of it. It didn't spoil the day and we had a great game.

Yes your Towten game looked great, Chris and I have played it as well at Fisticuffs on3 year
