Errr?
Stewart and Rob are running a pirate sea fight.  It is all their responsibility(!!?)
We ran a 25mm western in 2018 but got very few joiners.  Maybe the attendees were there for the trade and not to join in? I think there is a lot of trade going this year. A mixed blessing for PP.  No B+B I think.

i would like to put on a pirate land raid in 54mm, but the effort would be wasted in terms of sales and lost sculpt time.
It would need 180 figures, 11 buildings and some scatter scenery. Plus a couple of parked ships. i would like to play such a game though.

Hope that all is going well for those taking games to Beachhead.

Hope that Robs ships are up to Stewarts quality.

Hope the WW2 stuff looks good as this year is the 75th anniversary.

Leslie BT

So is that it just one game of ship born pirates?

Our little club here can at least manage two games on Saturday with just 8 members!!

Quick report. I did not take a camera, shame.
Weather was very mild.
Loading and unloading went well. Mainly because the route in and out of the hall was very flat. Good news.
Games. Stewart can give a good overview, as he was a judge.
Beachhead game by Miles, Mike and Colin was very very good. Colin's 3D print landing craft being of special note.
Plenty of space to move around the show.
Good that there was no "tannoy". Made it quieter.

Here are some games I saw.
1. Big 20mm Arnhem game
2. 15mm "Cock" game , desert.
3. 1/700th Japanese WW2 harbour/atoll game.
4. Blood and plunder 25mm beach raid
5. Big "penguin" game
6. Big selection of board games all set up and ready to play. Excellent.
7.Gladiator "son of mars" game.
8. 25mm Napoleonic skirmish.
9. 1/700th ? air battle
10. 15mm Orc participation game
11. Ancients 15mm FOG game
12. SAGA competition
13. FOW competition
14. Star wars competition
15. Kings of war competition
16. Big 20mm 1960 Brit v Russian
17.  Loads of other games too.....

Wow - that sounds like quite a big show!

Glad to hear that the PBI game went so well, and looking forward to seeing some photos in due course. Those landing craft sound intriguing...

Leslie BT

Great to hear it has been another sucessful show.

I hope that all who went had a great day out and the traders a profitable one.

A good day was had by all. We got 2nd,Best of Show for our game. Considering it was only half the table and a lot of tanks were only basic colour painted. Thats myself, Big Mike and Colin. We all have put in a lot of work doing our various bits and pieces, Thanks All. Still a long way to go, hopefully will have the table ready to play in a couple of months, ready for June.

Congratulations all - that's wonderful!

I've sent you a note, Miles: if you email me the photos I'll post them here.
