Apologies all for the temporary interruption to the service - the Tinypic.com site, on which most of the news banner images are hosted, appears currently to be down - and indeed to have been so for most of today.

I can always write good descriptions.

Save your energy - a good sculpt is worth many thousands of words  ;)

New news duly posted - more Western and Vietnam goodies :)

Don't worry the banner photos are fine, this just seemed to be the best thread to post in...

Just mis-read the title of one of the banner photos: mountain tribe administrators. Guess those mountain tribes don't just organise themselves.

Colonel Kilgore

You had me worried there!

And yes, they're tricky characters - they keep running off and hiding in the jungle :)

Colonel Kilgore

Apologies - tinypic.com is down again. Our News pictures should reappear once it's back up again!

Leman (Andy)

General Meade is currently popping up twice in the news banner; once as himself and once as Hancock.

Colonel Kilgore

Thanks for pointing this out, Andy.

That is very cheeky of him - he will be disciplined and this will be fixed!

Apologies,

Simon

OK - normal service should now have been resumed.

The generals are even in the right numerical order now.

Do please continue to point out any errors you spot, folk!

Cheers Simon, I thought he was getting a bit above himself, just because he was promoted to C-in-C AoP.

Having said that, as a recognisable character, he is so much more convincing than the actor who played him in Gettysburg. Nice one Martin!

Thanks Simon, would you be able to promote the PBI day 9th Nov and the games weekend please?

Colonel Kilgore

Miles has already asked me for the PBI day (I've been slack...) but I completely forgot to publicise the Weymouth weekend this year...

I think TinyPic lost my normal Weymouth photo - I'll have to look out the original, unless someone has a good one to hand?
