Just did some small bits to the rules.
Scenery , tried it our and made some notes.
Did some more work on jammed in ships (see Duncan's game notes)

POE is going quite well at the moment. Maybe start land raids in September.

Will get 28 out very soon.

Duncan

So what have you done about the ships being hemmed In?

martin goddard

Ships now hemmed in can use the new "push and shove " rules. They will be in the set 27 to go out tomorrow. In short a ship hemmed in will be able to "shove" an obstructing ship, to face a useful direction, but then only 1 hex of movement will be allowed after any twisting/shoving.

Duncan

Will they also have to suffer the potential of sails, masts and rigging getting tangled as they pass in the same hex? It would seem only right that they did.

Got this book from an Amazon Seller about £10, not brand new, but 2nd hand books are a cheap alternative. But it seems full of information that a land lubber like me can understand.
So just a thought.

Looks good Miles. Conway stuff is usually very good although a bit "heavy" in my opinion.

After reading Smiley Miley's post above I have also ordered a copy of The Line of Battle. It is high time I ended my complete ignorance of naval matters.
