Would SB work on a hex grid?

As the title asks really. I have not yet played the rules but it did cross my mind a hex grid coild extend forward the time frame?

I would suggest "probably no" because SB relies on forward/backward for a lot of mechanisms. Be good to hear other opinions etc...

Well, you'd have to change the name for a start: "Hex Bashing"?

One of the things I really like about the Square Bashing mechanism is that you definitely know whether or not a flank attack is taking place. That could prove more (and unnecessarily) complex on a hex mat.

And you'd also have the potential of 4 flank attacks at once on a single target hex...?
