I'm taking a pause from AK47 armies for the moment. I recently discovered my late C18 Indian armies lead pile (mostly Freikorps, Two Dragons, Minifigs and Irregular). I'm currently ploughing through a Rajput army to game the civil wars in the 1790s. Plenty of telinga battalions to go round but not enough levies, cavalry, camel guns, rockets and artillery of all sizes. There's plenty of different troops to keep me quiet for a bit. I kid myself they take up less space when they're done!

Square Bashing 1914/15 maybe into 1916 pre Helmet BEF. First of all enough to do SB day at the end of May then have enough to do the army book options?

Mill article done and dusted, now down-scaling my 10mm Later C19th armies to 20mm frontage so I can get the best out of my various rules and table. Will now be able to comfortably use them with Square (Krupp) Bashing, They Died for Glory, Field of Battle 3, Neil Thomas C19th, Chris Pringle's Bloody Big Battles and the Bello Ludi Big Battle Rules.

Next load of horrors done. Takes me up to enough for 6 templates at 3 per.

Not sure i I need any more. Time to turn attention to wood/or something similar and building.

The rocks are rock salt.  At one of the craft fairs I "helped" out at with the misses there was a guy selling large blocks of the stuff with light fitting inside. HE was selling of bags of the stuff (offcuts) at £2.50 per bag.  I think they look "other-worldly" enough.  Only problem with them is they react weirdly when in contact with PVA. Well the PVA does anyway. Almost repels it and makes it "curdle".  Break out the rubber solution... works fine.

Good pieces Derek.
Game on.
