Great work Sean. That's an impressive feat of human endurance and grit.

lovely work sean.
it would have been 9 hours of work if you had made legal dead markers :)
Julian

I think it would have been 7 hours and 55 minutes, as Sean wouldn't have had to bother cutting the bases in half  ;)

Don't worry, I have it in hand for the big day. Can't be letting the side down can we? 😅

They've now had their first taste of combat. Glad to report they didn't do anything silly like win their first game😋😂😅

>Most disappointing to see that even the best dictators can't follow the rules.

Simon

Most dictators write their own rules....problem solved!! 😊

This Netflix series was worth the watch....

Did you paint your figures mounted on the bases?

Sean,

Howard

As Martin says, yes, I almost always mount my figures to their base before painting them. It's really all smoke and mirrors, pulled together with a wash.

The Militia took a bit longer than planned as I painted most of them in the colours of Premier league teams, so there is one in an Arsenal top, a Chelsea top, a Man City top etc. Gives them a nice bright appearance in the table.

Sean Clark

Painted up my latest purchases of some naked Militia and Professionals plus some regulars and Militia from my last army box, technically for a dictatorship army.

They look mighty fine, Sean - you really have got your "splodge paint and splash ink" technique (to paraphrase your own words, but which really don't do you or your results justice) down to a fine art  ;)

Hi Sean,
They look very nice, the basing goes well with the figures. I hope they fight well for you.

Best wishes,
