Great looking game.  What are the chaps in green beside the Vielsalm sign?  Also what is the colour of the German webbing a nice conker brown?

I like the other Balkans first and then the East Africans.  There was a cracking 28mm game at Vapnatak a couple of years ago.  I will try and find the pics.

Thanks for all the input.  The game was very close and I got a small win.  Great fun as always.

Square Bashing / Artillery Shooting

In my game on Saturday Rob said that my artillery can only fire one column to the side of straight ahead.  Has anybody else seen this as I have looked in the rules.

but cannot see any mounted ones!

Terrain and Figures / Boer Artillery
December 22, 2018, 05:32:08 PM
Hi
Does anybody have ideas/links to pics of the Boer light artillery, described as pom poms.
Any other Boer uniforms data would also be appreciated.
Also good 15mm figures.  I have Mini Figs.
Thanks

Square Bashing / Figure size problem
May 30, 2017, 07:35:23 PM
I was very disappointed today when I came to base up my 15mm WW1 Late Germans.  I had added a couple of packs of the Freikorps/Light equipment figures only to find that they were significantly bigger than the rest of the army.  Not only in height but in body size.  So be careful.

They look excellent, much more colourful and interesting than the late war.

Basing looks good too. Like the extra bits on the artillery bases. Whats the difference between those with shells and the bare ones?

Shells are brass rod ground to a shaped point.  Spent cases are brass tube.  Score with a sharp knife then 'wiggled' with pliers to snap.  Shells for my previous Big Bertha post same but using knitting needles.

I am going to add some EWM crates when painted.

Square Bashing / EWM Terrain

I had a look at the terrain n the Early War Miniatures stand at Hammerhead yesterday.  Their figures and guns are 20mm but look very nice.  They do an number of sundries including crates (2 sizes) and jerry cans.  I bought some as the difference in something that small is negligible.  They also have a nice range of rubber terrain.  It does need painting.
