Heliograph battle

Mike and I had the Heliograph mission to contend with.

The British had a lot of troops.
3 foot units
1 MG unit
1 Heliograph unit.

Dervishes
2 veteran foot units.
1 poor foot unit
1 average camel unit.

The game looked really nice. That is important.

Mike failed twice in the game using 5 D6 and scoring all 1 and 2s.
That saved the heliograph unit.

MG shooting was a bit erotic(?)but overall  effective.
My scouts got run down. That meant that only one scenery piece was scouted in the game (same one twice).

The dervish veteran foot were replenished by a card but they fought against 3 British units. They got shot to death.

The game took just 1.5 hours with two experienced players and a rapid countdown.

A good game.
