Can I ask if anyone has made sabots to mount infantry for TCR so I could also use single mounted troops?

Hello Paul
For clarity.
Each group of 1(praetorian),2(legionary),3(auxiliary) figures = base.
Most forces will have about 9 bases.
Thus, figures could be grouped together without the need for a  sabot.
A 6" square might often hold 5 bases if the action is really happening. Therefore your sabots would need to fit 5 into a 6x6 square with some space remaining for an objective.

As the forces are so small (approx 20 figures) it might be just as easy to put them on bases. A force can be painted and based within a   day.

Just thoughts to put into your thinking hat Paul.

That's the Beauty of this game anything goes ? Martins idea about using different bases especially shapes it a great idea ?
My own interpretation is as follows:
My(28 mm) Praetorians are based on Square bases.
My (20mm or large 15mm figures or even a scout car/motorbike) Legionnaire are based on Circular bases.
Then the (15mm figures (non armoured) ) Auxiliary are based on [FoW] Rectangle bases.
The main thing is different shapes will give differential to the class types !
Simon has used a Sabot(s) for his Creepers but they need to Swarm ?
This is going to be a great game to be able to use any of those old toys you in your bits box ? As nobody can't say that's not possible?
What's the line from that famous Sci-Fi film ?
'A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....'
Gives us a lot of scope !

That's what I went for with my latest force.  All on 40mm (or thereabouts) bases just made of what I had on hand.

Praetorians on circles, Legionarries on squares and Auxillery on hearts.  Also helps if you base them in a different material or paint the edges in bright colours as this makes them easier to spot from a distance.

Derek you are right about the Bright bits on the bases ?
Last weekend I found mine kept hiding ?
Might go for what Simon does and have Bright grass on them!
