I'm scouting out for potential proxies for these troops that were trained by the Brits of Dunsterforce and participated in the Malleson Mission in 1918. The pictures I have seen (NAM) show Armenians in a mix of Russian and British uniform. A range of headgear seems to have been favoured from Russian and English peaked caps to what looks like a workers soft cloth cap.

They put me in mind of the SCW militia and republicans... any other suggestions of what I might potentially use?

Moggy

maybe you have answered you own question Neil. A mix of SCW with a scattering of other random figures we all seem to have left over that fit in!.   ;)

Thanks Derek,
I've just spotted Czech Legion infantry that I could also add into the mix!
perhaps a combo of SCW + Russian infantry and Czech legion...
