The British mission - reconnaissance of a village and return with the information

Forces
British- 3 foot units all average

Dervish - 3 foot units, 2 average, 1 raw
          2 mounted, 1 average, 1 raw

Win to the Dervish

Some thoughts

Mounted units get 1 free sq movement in the open, can't use to engage combat , can't use if adjacent to an enemy unit, not for scouts.

Scouts - get 6 action dice no adjustments, move as mounted, scout scenery medium action

Opportunity shooting
Shoot at enemy on a face at 1/2 strength rounded down , minimum 1 shot, make enemy think twice before moving across face of the enemy

British rifle jamming
Every 3 shots in a turn , roll 1 D6 , 6 scored ,1 base jammed , easy action by unit to unjam

Some initial  responses.

1. Mounted units. They move fast enough. They can easily travel half the table length in a turn.
2. Scouts. 4 actions does retain simplicity.
3.Opportunity shooting. If this happened it would make the British foot units lethal. This would stop bold manoeuvre. Just sit tight and wait.
4.Jammimg. I will come up with something for this but no hurry.

Onwards into the vastness.
Only a few people have signed up so far. We are at an early stage.
