Maybe make a trench game optional. Especially if two players request to play each other in one of the games they can arrange to play the trench game between themselves.

We are all grown adults and good friends, so shouldn't be a problem. But I'd not make it a mandatory element.

Are we saying RCW is not included? I'm happy wither way.

I would say no to trenches because the armies used would need to be trench focussed. A cossack host could find trenches difficult?

It was a most enjoyable but a very different game to the normal SB I think.
Personally I would rather just have  normal scenery.

martin :)
Sure. We will make it normal scenery.

martin :)
Thanks. I have now booked Sat 20 June 2026, as the dates are filling up quickly at Battlefield Hobbies.

Following your suggestion we will ask all players to bring 4 pieces of normal scenery suitable for their army. In addition they can bring appropriate objectives pieces, or have the option of using those supplied by the Burton club, who will provide all the roads.

That sounds good.
I like the idea of bringing your own scenery.
I agree with Sean if 2 (opposed)people wanted to do a Trench game particularly then that should be allowed.
But as a main most of us would prefer to do a normal game.
So it's 1916-18 ?
