unit composition

back in the dim and distant past, I seem to recall that there was a limit of arquebus or bow per unit and it was something like "must have more spear than shooter bases".

Was I imagining this as I cannot find it in the rules?  The sample armies follow this to the letter ,  I am low on shooters for a few units and want to build a few options eg choice of bow or firearms.

Hello Kevan

I am sure that the only restriction is the overall army 6-24 shooters.
Too many shooters make a unit weak in fights . Hence why most armies have more spears.
Maybe post a game report or pictures?
