Reminder.
This coming Saturday.
Please check you are still coming along.
The weather should be  nice and sunny.
We have 4 tables. Don't forget that the tables are 5x3.
The last battle day at ENTOYMENT current store.

1.  martin = Government 2nd half  + table set up
2.  Derek= Northern Rebels (martin's army)
3  Ben (from Southampton)= (Stewarts's spare army)
4. Stewart = table set up  Mexican Government army 1st or 2nd  half
5. Miles = Table set up. Government 1st half (martin's army)
6. Eric= Southern rebels (martin's army)
7. Big Mike=Southern Rebels + table set up - Zapata Rides(Southern rebels)!

After a game to remind me of the rules; here are a few notes that will be useful.

1. Guns do not provoke return shooting.
2. Pinning knocks outa square for the whole turn.
3. The rule of 6 is very important. Excess bases are pushed out. 6 is the limit to shooting from a square and assault.
4. Objectives are not supreme in value. Holding hills and buildings is also important.
5. Assets retain a  residual value of 1.
6.Attackers deploy in "boxes" of 4 squares.
7. Cavalry can move off the flanks and re-appear.
8. General rolls a D6 for move. No re-roll.
9. Scenery has a one 6" touch rule.
10. Each asset allows a  second asset if sucessful.
11. Shooting, only 3 square range.
12. Officers do not shoot.

Army types

Stewart made an excellent suggestion that all armies on Saturday be average quality.

This is because most players have not played FM recently. It will makes things flow better.

Come on as an asset

Have 14 movement points used with a D6 to move down the track, 2nd train will need at least one empty 6" sq to arrive
Roll a D6 to move a sq (D6 roll comes off the 14 points) any enemy units on the track cost one of your 14 movement point per base they then move to the side

The train does attract opportunity fire

Train unit
First train gets one Free officer
Unit of 6 bases from your dead pile, foot or mounted our a mixture no MMG's
Mounted have to roll for dismount
One field gun from the dead pile, cannot leave the train 360 firing arc

2nd train
Gets 6 bases from your dead pile

Both train units count as one unit for casualties and morale

A point about the pre game came up.
The pre game depletions for the defender are based on the piggy chase difference not the piggy chase result.

Mike has made some cattle for the countdown.  Very good indeed. I shall copy that idea Mike.
