Two games today.
Mexican revolutionary army versus British early war.

Game 1 Mexican win as attackers.
Game 2 Mexican win as defenders.

The Mexicans were quite fortunate in game 2 as they rolled really well for victory points. with re-rolls the numbers would be much closer. Miles only gained 2 points for one objective he held.

The games  looked really nice.

Your new objectives are really clear. I like them.

Must thank Martin for another good day at PPHQ, with his usual Hostility. Also for Stewart for being  there for the first game.
Definitely glad we did have a 2nd practice as somehow I had made a bit of a major cock up in my points. Somehow I had costed my Professionals 50 points cheaper than they should have been. So at least I got that rectify hat and get my Maths right before Sq Bashing event ?
So fighting a Cavalry army is quite hard as they are very mobile, and in one game got an extra Free move from the Days to War for every turn. But that was achieved after score 17 points so was earned rightly enough.
As Martin says I was beaten both games, but the ability on the re roll to try and gain some respect back in scoring 2 points for an objective maybe scoring 7 instead ? Is an example of what Martin is proposing?
Even though I had 2 objectives and well over half my force on the table and just failing to get a 3rd Objective ? The score line didnt tell a true story ? It could have gone either way 2 turns before ? So we were thinking Defenders Victory but quite close but the defender scoring 97 ?  Wasn't on the cards !
But still a good day and well worth the practice?
