Hi everyone!

I'd like to know if anyone has played on a board like the one in PBI, that is, 8 x 8 squares instead of the original 6 x 10.

I'd like to use the board I made for the Pacific and use it for Vietnam. Has anyone had experience with this? Any issues I should be aware of?

Thanks a lot, everyone!  ;)

Nope, but I'd love to hear how it goes!

Deployment is one thing I can think of that would need amending but I can't see why the basic mechanics would need to change for movement, shooting, searching etc.

Agreed Sean
May be reduce villages by 1 and other scenery by 2 or 3 templates

The other issue is that the game was well and truly playtested in its written format.

How any changes will impact on this balance remains to be seen. But I am sure it'll be fun trying it out!

Hello Pablo

A PBI table = 64 squares.
A 5x3 gives 60 squares.

Because MOCB is about moving, the difference to the game will be very small.

The perimeter of PBI is 28.
The perimeter of 5x3 = 28
Thus, arrival and deviations will work the same.
The road will be less useful.

Good luck and let us all know how it works.
