The salute show is on Saturday 12th April.
I hope it will be really nice.
The Scots re enactors have my interest. I think it is WW2.

I will endeavour to get some photos.
There is also  game of TBA. The bloody ambush? Two big amtracs?  I will investigate.

I hope to meet with some old friends

Anyone else going.

Sorry Martin - I'd love to join you (I've never actually been to Salute) but have been tasked with taxi duty instead...

It's going to be a very big hall with only Nigel, Stewart and me there.
Especially if we get the wrong Saturday.

But you may be there with 50,000 marathon runners to keep you company, as they pick up their kit?  :D

Maybe some will want to AK?

Not for me this weekend, Friday evening is our wargaming groups curry night at a local restaurant, Saturday I have promised to take my 6 year old granddaughter to the park followed by an ice cream and Sunday is the monthly village walk.

My next wargame show will be Partizan on Sunday 18th of May.

Best wishes,
Martin, from a small village near Grimsby

I remember the Partizans. It is where we usually met you Martin. Twice a year. They were good shows.  I hear the new venue is very good too.

At salute I am going to look at tufts, the super big/visual games and maybe a special D6 for piggy chases.

Good to have a plan Martin!

There will be lots of people selling tufts so you're sure to find some you like.

I've not really kept up with what's happening at Salute this year.

I haven't done Salute for a few years now. I'm not a fan of the bigger venues especially as they seem to have more noise and more crowds. There's always someone who doesn't care that their rucksack is hitting people or others who block the displays for half an hour ruminating before they decide to spend 50p on something; its far worse than going shopping with the Missus! Kensington Town Hall was my favourite.

That said, I hope you enjoy. I may well see Grimsby's finest at Partizan instead!

My next show will be Crisis in Sint Niklaas, Belgium, November.

I'll be there .

I have book launch with Helion and helping Simon Miller with his Malburian game

Did you all enjoy yourselves?

It looks a bit empty  :D

Didn't go this year as nothing I am really looking for and far too expensive to get there, get in and get home again just for a look around. Hope you enjoyed it though.
I am too busy trying to paint up what I have to start new projects. Currently that's about a hundred plus 28mm Vikings and about 250 PP WotR figures that have sat in a box for too many years.
