Hello!

I'm thinking about making a new table to play a battle set in Stalingrad, and I'd like to hear your opinion on how to modify the rules when selecting and placing different types of terrain.

For now, I was thinking that all the scenery pieces players bring should be buildings, and I would remove the rule that they must be placed on a road so that the two roads placed on the table represent a couple of city streets.

Do you have any other ideas?  ::)

Sounds good Pablo.
Si made a massive Stalingrad piece. Maybe he can help here?

See The Mill edition 16 (free on the PP website) for my ideas on alternative terrain set ups.

Thank you all for your ideas!

I hadn't seen the ideas you included in The Mill Edition 16, John. Thanks for pointing me to it. In your idea for the city boards, do the building tiles still go on top of the roads?

I'm also taking the opportunity to share some photos of what I'm working on for the table. As I make more progress, I'll keep uploading more photos.

Buildings should "tab' roads if possible, but I think you can be flexible about that if it helps to create your scenario.

You  have captured the battle terrain well.
Are you going to add a very tall factory chimney?
