Some photos of my game against Ben - valiant Brits holding off the Italian Bersaglieri on their Vespas for a score draw:









And a final shot (the second game of  the day always get less journalistic coverage, I find) of the 8th Army taking on Eric's DAK with somewhat foolhardy bravery in the face of better dice and better tactics - the Brits came a very poor second here:

It was a good day for gaming.
It was good to see all players knowing the rules pretty well.
The tables and companies looked really nice too.
All good.

I think PBI is not a game for first time wargamers, but is great for players who can  use tactics and have a plan.
