It's "boracic" Miles. Brassic is the tv programme. Boracic is short for the cockney rhyming slang "boracic lint" or skint. Skint, itself, may be a corruption of skinned or made bare i.e. without any means of payment. That's the end of today's English lesson.

Queens English or the written word is my main subject, I do my thing with a craft knife and paint.
I forgot I was going to a gig this evening, booked it 10-12 months ago, I had to pay my share of the ticket price, so the money I had put by went out of my hand.

In fairness Miles, I didn't know that either. Another example of how educational  this forum is.

According to the gods of the internet, brassic lint is ok to use in the context you put it so you weren't wrong! It's simply a contraction or shortening of the word boracic 😀

I looked it up. So I was actually right ?
So my education wasn't a waste then ? But as I wasn't public school only common garden Comprehensive ! Then I didn't know the other meanings, spellings etc ? Good to look it all up though!

Yes the bands were good, but from a gaming point of view I would ve preferred another Friday to have gone to see them !
