If we can add the current Orc head pack too that would be great... I can look at Dark Age dead and see if I can swap heads etc

Ah yes, from my (our) youth - DnD orcs were piggy ones (although there were some green ones I remember as well) while Citadel miniatures had green skinned ones (especially by 3rd edition Warhammer). I think you can guess which version of Orc won the popularity poll. :)

I suspect it's as simple as green skin makes them easy to differentiate in miniature painting and art works. Brown or grey skin tone is IMO a hard skin tone to paint unless you are good at it.The mind quickly can sync on that and in bad lighting contrasts do not show up well. While the obvious fantasy of green not only stands out but does not scream as off to our subconscious which is used to looking at facial details.

Piggy faced orcs are intending to be released in 12mm scale via Pendraken next year.
