Two battles at ASDA

12th December 2023.

Russians attacking Germans. Russian win. Germans lost two tigers in assault on a building.

EW British attacking EW Pz grenadiers. Small German win.
Fred did some major damage with his two PZ III.
Lots of smoke used in this game.

Germans were all half track mounted.
This did not make much difference as the Germans deployed 3 squares in.
The half tracks did make the arrivals easier.
Cost of 9 half tracks was 63 points.  All MG armed.

Germans won because they just held on to two objectives.


Some feedback to things we played
1.We tried Miles' idea of compensation for lots of SMG or LMG.
Seemed good but needs more testing.
2.Ben's mortars were  pretty effective.
3.Transport 2D6 worked fine.
4.Light damage on tanks worked fine.
5. Transports worked fine.
6.We did not test out flamers but we need to.
7. Assets without residuals seemed fine.
