Many thanks to Martin, as he has asked and also organised "the Factory Game" to be a show game for Colours this year. Martin also asked if we could put it on at Beachhead 2024 ?
Myself and Colin talked about this and we have thought ok, but we need to adjust next years game  as a 1944 themed game ? So might substitute the British for Russians ? Also move the game up the coast from  Bremerhaven to East Prussia ?
I will be emailing the "usual crew" who normally put on games for shows under the RFCM banner.
If anyone wants to play the game beforehand ? Please shout as we will need to Playtest the game as the newer Rules have changed some aspects of the game.
Yes it is a show game ?
Yes the Allies should win ? But not to make the game slanted so the Germans can't win ?
It's trying to get the Balance right ?
Hopefully in the next few weeks myself and Colin should have some better more definitive scenery pieces as Simon and Richard did point out it was "difficult" to determine some of the Squares from one another.

The game is on the first floor Miles. That will need some carrying.
You can go up on Friday to set up but that seems a lot of extra effort.

It would be great if there were 3 people to help Miles run the game.

Nigel is on the stand,
Stewart is giving me a help with the other game CK.
Anyone else free for Saturday 9th September.

I am hoping over the summer to make this a sectional type of table, using the plastic board that Mat gets from BandQ, to make it easier to handle and lighter to carry(I hope !) as well as simpler to read and look at. Better defined squares etc.
I do have a nice trolley now for carrying at these sort of venues.
If you can get into the lift ? Lol

John, working, I thought you were retired!!

Hoping to be over for the weekend, if I can help with anything.

It will be good to see you there, Les.

Well could always do the Korsun Pocket with a surrounded German force being hammered by Russians. Failing that could do the Canadians in Holland/Denmark.

Les your always welcomed to join in ? Many hands and all that !
Especially as Colours is one of the "Large" games days.

Just a quick update. I ve now got the table properly on the way. As there have been a few hic-cups along the way , including suffering long (ish) term Concussion after to trying to fly across my Hallway a few weeks ago. (Must have a longer run up next time ? Lol)
The table is now taking shape, as a Urban, industrial area, which hopefully different styles of buildings could be placed on in time, so to give the table longevity and not just for this up coming show ?
Also included is Colin's suggestion of Sunken rails for the Crane as well as other suggestions and ideas from Mat and Simon. ?

All coming along very nicely, Miles.

As we've discussed, the idea of a fixed board for roads and rail, with interchangeable buildings/other squares, is interesting and should be able to open it up to other eras too.

I am hoping that the board will be used a few times at least, as the effort to build it has been a bit more involved than I had at first thought!
