You have been busy, Martin, thank you.

But I thought that you were supposed to be having some time off?

Simon

martin goddard

Thanks Simon.
I am having some quiet home days indoors and in the workshop.
This is some "quiet time" before Nigel and Mike need the workshop again.
I have been doing some new racking and shelf work.

martin :)

Leslie BT

None of that sounds like holiday Martin.

Colonel Kilgore

But good manly work cutting steel.sections with the chop saw?

Simon

sukhe_bator (Neil)

I've assisted with putting up some racking for my firm over the years and it ain't down time! I admire your stamina, Martin.
Don't work too long on them struts or you'll be joining the likes of 'Dexion's Midnight Runners'... ;D

I'm productively sitting at our dining room table for the next few days trying to cram in as much modelling as I can. Hopefully finishing off my desert fort and native village for AK47R.

I must confess that I put on knee pads too, angle grinder  plus goggles.
The "look" is all important.
Spent a lot of time outside the front of the house impressing passers by (??).

Check shirt and baseball cap too, I hope Martin?

Simon

Yep. Although my father was a lumberjack.

Colonel Kilgore

Wonderful, so you're OK then  :D

Does the workshop include a wildflower press?

Leman (Andy)

I wondered when someone was going to skip and jump to the wildflower pressing. We are obviously all of a similar mindset.

Colonel Kilgore

Presumably a spot of shopping, followed by buttered scones today, though?

Simon

Leman (Andy)

And there was me in my black and red check shirt buying custard tart with kiwi fruit on new year's eve.  :o
