Hi all

Had a great night out last night at

https://thewaroftheworldsimmersive.com/

A little pricey but a very enjoyable evening. If you loved the Jeff Wayne album be prepared to have it blasted so loud the floor shakes. Spend about 90 mins in there and a nice bar meal after.

Always a  fan, hope you enjoyed it.

Yep, a great experience. Only stumbled across it by accident online. I did see Jeff Wayne and a full orchestra perform it with Justin Hayward and many other originals a few years ago at the BIC in Bournemouth. Now that was amazing.

Spose I am showing my age a bit with this but who cares.   ;D

Looks incredibly good Derek.  My sort of music too.

Got the CD. Listened to it often. Sounds great, pricey or not (you're a long time dead). 8)

@ Derek, Too far for me. I am in SW France. We dont get a lot of groups play down this way, But over the last few years we have seen Elton, Dylan and Crosby Stills & Nash all about an hour away at Pause Guitare in Albi.
Cannot buy another army as I have no spare empty drawers and am struggling with these Cossacks I am working on.

For those of you in the UK, you can also visit the 'Battlefield site' with monuments to the invasion ;)
