Ooh!

Last time I went for a special offer, the company closed and got re-born. I got my money back but not the special deal...

Do I go for it and buy all the mats I "need", but then risk the squares not being square...?

Buy 5, get 1 free!

I'm struggling to find that offer anywhere on their site, Sean. Where did you hear of it, please?

Thanks Sean. That looks to be on one of those newfangled social media platforms? It's a little difficult to read, but I think I made out a code of MONDAY to be used. On Monday.

Interesting to see whether that would work for custom gridded mats or only standard fare you can buy from the website without having to interact with the proprietor (assuming he's not working over the Bank Holiday).

I know he's a bit hit or miss, but my last matt which was 1.5" hexes turned out lovely (for WW2 dogfighting)

Nope, just bought my final mat from Geek Villain, and that was an EU hassle that had to be done through Warlord Games, thus costing me an extra 40 euros (damn good mat though, and properly hemmed). However I now have snow and green from them, a 2/3 reduced mat for big games -i.e 8" rather than 12" grid for accurate terrain layout, and some scrubland 6" and 4" grids, plus the 5x3 green sold by PP some time ago. More than enough.

Bank holiday here was last Monday, 24th May.

I guess that means you can't get any money off tomorrow then, Les :)

Les is right though. It is still linked to the religious festival of Whitsuntide over here. No politically correct diddling around with an ingrained culture to keep the rest of the world happy (who probably wouldn't care anyway). That rather nice 8" gridded mat of mine was from Tiny Wargames, all others mentioned from Deep Cut.
