Both great days, Mike. It was good to re-use some of the original Ardennes scenery for the Stavelot game too.

My principal question is how on earth someone got away with not only leaving a mug of coffee on the Ardennes table, but it getting past the censor. I remember almost jumping out of my skin (on my first game at PBI no less) when you gently reprimanded me for daring to wave my my own cup of char somewhere in the vague proximity of your lovely white cloths...  :D

There are certain standards expected of an officer and a gentleman on how he conducts himself at the PBI table.  :D

Clearly, Sean. Although I obviously wouldn't know. But am trying to learn.

Wonderful pictures Miles, thanks for sharing.

I think all future Piggie events should end with a group photo. Then we can look back on it in years to come and say 'Blimey, I was young back then'!

Also, to remember those that may or maybe with us ?
Then we can remember those that have passed away with fond memories?

Yes indeed. Too often we may take picture of the tables and neglect the players. I will try to avoid that in the future.

Some great memories there, Miles, and other events I wish I'd been at!

Simon, I hope the scars have healed.
That coffee mug does look ripe for a major spillage.

Unfortunately I lost a load of digital Photos in 2009, as my computer at the time packed up and seemingly frying the HD. These days it's a lot easier to back up everything, even for someone like me.
I had a load from PBI, AK47 and CWB events in the noughties but unfortunately lost forever.

A proud moment. You will note that if your wear a smart uniform no official lanyard or other form of identification is required.

Reference the" coffee cup " Remember the Playing Battlefield was raised up!
Which I would like to do in future as it gave us space to put the "associated junk" Coffee cups, Rules, Dice and other things on table without interfering with the important bit. Playing the Game, and gave a better looking game as well I felt.

They are great pictures, but McAfee still won't allow me to expand them. Very strange.
