Did a trial run today.....still clear............... got tyhe email and it updated the NHS app.

OK, just checked. Misread the entry requirements for the venue its an "or" not an "and" for the vacinations and lateral flow test. Ah well, didn't cost anything.

Most of the events I've been to recently have asked for a negative LFT even if you've been vaccinated. Don't see any problem with that. In fact I would feel really guilty if I unwittingly infected others with Covid, so the test makes sense to me.

The vacination reduces the chance of getting it and greatly reduces the mortality rate. It doesn't stop you catching it. Thats why there ahve been a lot of double vacinated people catching it. Especially in the at risk catagories (like me)
