Duck you suckers ! (Films)

Last night I was treated to a Mexican double bill of "The magnificent seven "AND "A fistful of dynamite" (also titled "Duck you suckers !" and apart from the obvious anachronism of James Confirm letting fly with a cut down MG 42 it all looked very "in period". I don't know if Huerta actually used armoured cars but it definitely had a very early WW1 look and unlike American westerns it looked like someone had researched the uniforms !
Does anyone know of any other Mexican Revolution related films ?

Villa Rides (1968)  even though it has Yul Brynner in it...
And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself (2003) is better with Antonio Banderas in the lead. An interesting take on the true attempt to counter the Govt. propaganda war by enlisting Hollywood to film a documentary biopic starring Pancho Villa.

I saw the Brando film a few years back and it definitely deserves another look. And I'll see if I can track down the others on Amazon too 😁

Funny thing about Waterloo (apart from Mr. Plummers dry and entertaining dialogue), it showed on t.v. the same Christmas as Airfix brought out "Waterloo Wargame", which was the first "proper" wargame I ever played 😁

The part of Juan Miranda was specifically written for Eli Wallach but sadly he had other commitments so they gave the part to Rod Steiger who IMO plays it badly
