There is to be  a Ken Burns  (did the ACW series) VIETNAM series out September 2017.

September 2017? But I want it now!

I'm sure this will be pretty good. I have watched the ACW series countless times and now large parts of it by heart!

He does a couple of other series as well.  One on the West and one on the Franklins.  Both as brilliant as the ACW.

Maybe he can get a new tune as he did with Ashokan farewell to head up the series.  i am watching tour of duty at the moment with the re-inserted original soundtrack.  Great music. Paint it black is the main theme!

Tour of Duty was brilliant.  There's a couple good Australian mini-series from the 80's.  Sword of Honour, and Vietnam.  If you can find them.

By the way, on that same YouTube page you have linked to, there are several episodes of "Vietnam in HD" too. I've had a quick browse and, while the voiceovers might not be to everyone's taste, there is some great footage. Shou;d be very helpful for painting all those little piggies!
