Buildings
« on: October 18, 2020, 08:30:52 AM »
In FM there are two types of buildings.

1. Solid buildings.  These would be two storey brick built. Maybe nice arches on the lower floor. Smooth rendering and a nice tiled roof (with chimneys).

2. Scattered buildings. These would be single storey mud  brick types. Probably with a big overhang at front which can be worked under. Also some buildings in wood plank. Some outdoor ovens. Added to these buildings will be cattle pen fences, low walls and some piles of stuff.

Although I am busy with figures I think i will get two buildings done before Christmas to help with play test games.
They will be solid, as  FM is nota skirmish game.

Sounds good Martin.
I particularly like the idea of the smaller “scatter” buildings.

Good news Martin, will you be making the 3  objectives as well?
They would really be useful for play testing.

The FM buildings range should happen at Christmas (promises promises).
Probably 4 buildings with some add ons too.
Research work all done.
Solid resin pieces.
Not designed for skirmishes though. No "dolls housing".

Just need a few weeks of uninterrupted sculpt time.

Sculpt time, well unfortunately the way things are going you will end up with plenty of time if you can get the materials for making and casting.

You'll need to talk to Ian Weekley about the lighter weight materials to save on postage!

You are correct. I need he did make nice buildings.
I have about 30 of them.
The moulds went to CORITANI.
After that i think they migrated again.

Andy,

You are correct. Magister Militum say so on their website:
