Rules progress
« on: October 08, 2020, 10:04:01 AM »
In the initial stages of rules there are always huge changes.
Because of this, I will send out a new set today, having changed 5 or so big things.
These early "revolutions" do settle down to become "evolutions".

Please don't print of a copy, as it is soon outdated in these early "breaths".
(Quite like the Frankenstein monster analogy?)

So what are you and Stewart using at the moment, just the play sheet and battle sheet and a bit of reference back to SCW?

Les , we decided not to use the rules that were sent out to play testers.
Why would we do that? :)
Instead we used Top Trump cards.
Next week we might use WRG 4th edition.

Just asking what you have been using for armies so far, that's all.

I hear the original Pony Wars rule were playtester using medieval knights and longbow men.

These early games must be very fluid and quite interesting as the first concieved ideas are trialled and quickly amended or discarded. A bit like starting out with an egg and ending up with a teapot.

Thank you Stewart.
In the rules there are 8 armies at the moment, which army lists have you been using? Have you been adding the extra additions?  Are you using Assets?
